Holding a rose -a bitter taste lingered in her mouth,
a taste of deception,
who
knew something so beautiful but fragile,
could leave so many tender scars on the soul,
something like the beauty of a rose,
but its thorns so slyly hidden-
what fools we are,
mistaking love for beauty,
yet you look on in sobriety,
at such a lovely thing; we are deceived.
Forgetting every rose has thorns;
and accompanying love is pain.

Someone once told me.... when he ignored our first-month mark and half-year mark that we ignore those so that the anniversary would be special. Because anniversaries
are supposed to be special.
Well thanks for the "special" anniversary.
Thanks.

The ReportThis is a description of what happened.
Lazychoo and I were on our way to Yishun's VICOM for his wave inspection. He was riding his 929, I was riding his wave, of which I was insured as the sub-rider.
At the cross junction between Yishun Avenue 7 and Avenue 10 we made a right turn. The green arrow indicating right-turn only to our favor was on. I made the turn after throughly checking if there were any other cars on the opposite road. Lazychoo was behind me.
After I successfully made the turn I heard a loud crash behind me. I turned around immediately because I knew Lazychoo was behind me. A black car, apparently beating the red light had crashed INTO LAZYCHOO.
I saw him on the bike spinning out of control and then hitting the curb. The next thing I knew I was flying off the bike and the ground was coming closer to me. I rolled a good few times and during the period of rolling, all I could think of was to get to Lazychoo as soon as possible.
Immediately after I stopped rolling I jumped up and ran over to Lazychoo. He wasn't moving. Many hands attached to nameless faces held him up and placed him on the curb.
It scared the hell out of me.
While fussing over him and making sure he was ok, the lady driver of the car that hit Lazychoo, who stopped only because of a punctured tyre actually had the cheek to walk over and SCOLD us. She harshly, loudly and hysterically yelled that THE LIGHT WAS GREEN! THE LIGHT WAS GREEN!
The police and the ambulance arrived with an amazing speed of what felt like all of TWO minutes. Wow. First time I've seen them being so efficient. But I digress.
After making sure that I was ok and Lazychoo, upon advise, went off in the ambulance, Anthony and his mother came. Roger arrived shortly after that. They walked around to take pictures as evidence and talked to the lady driver and her husband, who by then had arrived at the scene.
I followed them to listen to what they were saying, but both Roger and Anthony walked away just as I reached. As I neared, I could hear the woman hysterically explaining to her husband that THE LIGHT WAS GREEN! I helpfully updated the husband with an unbiased account of what happened. How so unbiased?
"Well, what happened was that we were making the right turn. The traffic light indicated a green arrow in my favor, so I made the turn. Then she just appeared out of nowhere and smashed into Lazychoo."
Which was true.
Anyway, I walked away hearing them arguing heatedly, like sweet music to my ears.
The IO arrived and asked me for my account on what happened. I gave it to him action-by-action. He was very nice. He told me I could go after hearing my account.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The above is a statement of a true account. Should it not be true, I give full permission to slash me, flame me, walk on the road get hit by the same car, struck by lightning, fall into the sea get eaten by a giant squid, and roast to a crisp in an explosive accident. All of which I wish would happen to her.
That lying, scheming.. woman.

We're okayThanks for the concern guys, especially to besties Roger and Anthony (and his mother) who were the first to rush to the scene. Anthony who went to accompany Lazychoo at the hospital while Roger stayed with me to settle the whatnots like talking to the Investigating Officer and waiting for the tow truck.
Thanks to Andrew and Chrislyn, who came in the rain and waited with me in the rain while Andrew moved the wave I was riding into a secret hiding place.
Thanks to bro Vik who came after Andrew and Chrislyn set off for the hospital to look for Lazychoo. Thanks, bro, for coming down whilst in the middle of the big bike fest.
And more thanks to Roger who stayed by my side, who could actually just wait comfortably in the car with me but instead went out in the rain to pick up Lazychoo's bike.
Me, sitting comfortably in Roger's car while he went out to pick up the bike by himself.Such a dear, sweet guy.
Thanks to Tommy and Wayne, who were at the big bike fest and instead of coming down to see the 929 rushed over to the hospital to look for Lazychoo.
Thanks to Alexander, Shirley and Stanley, who were all at the big bike fest. Thanks for calling to kaypoh about the situation. Much appreciated.
Thanks to Jie Sheng for sharing with me later on that night about your own accident two days before, and chatting with me until I felt better.
Thanks to Su baby for calling. I love you, sweetheart.
Thanks to Yuffie, Daniel, Melvin and Junie for sharing your concerns over the accident. You guys made me feel so touched. Aww.
Thanks to all you huggie-wuggies who cared, who kaypoh-ed and who stood by us during the ordeal. I *heart* you guys!

I'm so gladI'm so glad that you're alive.

I'm so glad that you're ok.

I'm so glad that I'm alive.

I'm so glad that I only suffered abrasions.

... And I'm so glad that we're both still here to take care of each other.

Over the weekend.. and pretty much ever since I last blogged, we...
- Found the very first dude with the musical horn on a bike, like the one in the
Dukes of the Hazzard.

All of them have different tones so when activated in a certain order a medley of tones come out.
"Wah, everybody taking picture, I also want to take!"
But for the time being, it sounds like an awfully loud telephone ringing. The owner hasn't set the tone yet.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Got a dog from an uncle who picked her up off the street. Mom paid $200 for her, and the uncle, who was my mom's friend, had the audacity to take the money.
Look, dude, if you picked it off the street you got it for free. And even so, you took $200 from my mother, your friend, for something you got free?
I hope you get struck by lightning and run over by a cay and have the gearshift lever rammed up your arsehole and not die. Then I want your wife to run away with your money and splurge it all on dogs that other people found and return all the dogs to their owners.
Which brings me back to the topic.
This..

.. is Gino.

She was with us for a mere 2 days when we saw posters being put up near the place where the uncle found her.
The owner was found.
Part of me felt relieved.
Yet another part of me started bleeding, and the blood will never stop like it never did with all the other dogs I've fostered and found homes for.

Mom didn't want me to return her because she paid $200 for her.
But you know me. If I didn't return her to her owner, my conscience would eat at my soul for the rest of my life. So I did what I had to do.

I still miss her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Lazychoo finally bought his big bike.

If you remembered from a few posts before, this bike originally belongs to Tommy. Interesting things happened directly after Lazychoo took this bike, but I can't write in an unbiased manner so I think I'll just quickly skip to the next section.
Haha.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Celebrated Mom's birthday one day before the actual day.
She booked this huge-ass KTV lounge for the family.
We (the younger generation) arrived before they did, so we started messing around with the microphones first.
Lazychoo starts the ball rolling.
Me, camwhoring with other people as usual.

Jennifer in a flurry. The aunties and uncles.

My grandma and my god-mother.

The birthday girl.

Peace!The youngest generation girls.

Ha!
Yes Jennifer, I photoshopped away your hand. So there.Lazychoo acting like I have some sort of contagious disease.

Camwhoring people again.

Do you see a ghost?

Recently, my little (no longer youngest
liao) cousin developed an affinity with cameras out of the blue, so whenever we take a camera out to camwhore, she wants a part of it too.
No wait, she want's the whole camera for herself.
Presenting the little camera queen.
And the next finger is.....
Okay, here's where we went awry.
It all started with an innocent monkey face from me back when we were having the shark fin family outing. She caught the expression, and has been making all sorts of monkey faces since then.
See? I am influential!

This picture is wrong.. so wrong..

End of little camera queen skit.
Ladies and gentlemen, the following picture is extremely rare, and it was with great vigilance that I caught this photo.

That would be my dad. Singing.
I've haven't seen him sing in like.. no wait, I've never seen him sing, period.
More cam-whoring going on..
With my pretty air-stewardess cousin, Leeling jiejie.

With my godmother.

My godmother with my grandmama.

My grandmama and me.

My mama the birthday girl.

And my papa, still singing.

Mama singing from across the room.

Us.

More pictures of people singing..

Godmum sang while grandmum danced.
Time to mess around with the cake!

This cake is perfect for mummy. It's got such a motherly feel.

"Happy birthday to Julie..."
Lazychoo's song came just after the birthday song, so he...

... started singing while mummy was still cutting the cake.
Last but not least, the three siblings!

Jennifer, mummy and uncle Charlie.

Time to make fun of people again...From wholivesnearyou.com
This is part of my profile on WLNY:
Getting fed-up with people I don't know asking me to add them in msn. Look dude, I only add people I know in my msn okay? Bugger off!
Word of advice: Don't talk about my bike if you know nothing about it. You wouldn't believe the things I have to deal with from ignorant people who die die want to talk about my bike. And still I get morons every now and then making the same mistake over, and over, and over, and over, and over.......... again.
This is what my profile looks like.

Thereby states the
NAME that I wished to be called, my
AGE and my current
STATUS. You wouldn't believe how many times I've had to deal with "hi, asl?" "got bf?"
Argh. Which is why having this blog is such a good thing. Let the fun-poking session start!
When messaging someone you don't know wanting to make friends, use English. Not some gibberish normal people can not understand unless they speak your funny gibberish language.
Andy_Chua: hi... i'm andy can make a frens with u ma?No, you cannot make
A fren
S with me.You could make friends with everyone else, though.
The following one I simply
HAD to ridicule. I
HAD to. Or I wouldn't be able to live with myself for the rest of my blogging life.
starcross77: hehe... am i cute.. are you looking at me?? :PLike, WTF?!
This is his picture.

Are you looking at him?
Anthony: hmm..cooll...a female rider..in our neighbourhood..keke..chat?
hmm..cooll...a male sua-ku-who-chats-with-me-only-because-I-have-a-bike..in our neighbourhood..keke..fuck off?
These are the morons who did NOT read my profile before asking for my msn. For those who did put their msn address, you have my full permission to add and bomb them.

Fred: hey ...i was bumping around and i happen to see ya profile ... was like wondering ...what's your preferences for a fling ?? Well you'd have to be named Brad Pitt and have buns of steel that when clenched can break pencils into two. gx: ride mi ! ha
How about I ride over you?
Guyver: hi i am jeff from woodlands can i get to know you.. how can i reach you.
I am reachable at this number - 999.
hed0555: you love bike dont you?heheheheheee..iprefer car for sure...
hed0555: oh.. its a repsol is it??? wah! the insurance very high for that bike leh... Oh really? I prefer car for sure too. I just like to split up the car into two so there're only two wheels left for me to ride one. And do you know that one of the biggest NOTs is to NOT praise cars over bikes when talking to a rider? It's a surefire way to get them to dislike you.
Anyway, it's a REPSOL meh? Insurance very high for the bike hor? Insurance also very high for Mitos leh! and Insurance basically very high for EVERYTHING LEH!
And by the way, REPSOL is a PAINTWORK, NOT a bike model.
xiangxiang: hi wanna chat?where do u stay?I stay in Hougang, IMH, in the section where people went crazy because others don't read their profile before asking them for their address for stalking purposes.
Zeave: a lil intro abt u?Argh!!!

What a weekend! Was at the IT show for the whole weekend working for Le-mon, under the speakers and DVD players section. Had on 3-inch knee high boots all throughout, and you cannot even imagine in what kind of funny funny places I've been having blisters.
Anyway, met a couple of friends at the show. Namely Hanz, who was working with Panda internet security, and Myth, who was looking around for pretty girls to get numbers from. Didn't have the time to take a photo with them, but I got the others!
With my cute mechenic Lionel, who actually looks a lot cuter in person.

With Han Lun, CBR600 rider who hangs out with Lionel. People say we look compatible in this photo. What do you think?

With Jian Liang, an old basketball friend whom I haven't contacted for years. Note that this is one very,
very tall dude. I was wearing 3-inch heels already and he's still towering over me.

And with Samuel, crazy mad rider.

An old ice-skating friend of mine, Bosco walked past too, but as usual he was in a great big hurry and I was too busy pushing my products to take a picture. Ah well.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gowns for photoshootWearing any two of these to a photoshoot on the 17th. Which two do you think I should wear?
I feel like a music teacher whenever I wear this one.
My sister's. Which explains the short length.
One of my favorites.
Also one of my favorites.
For Bosco: Eat your heart out. What do you think?
