Unfulfilling
You just need money. Lots of money to keep you happy. You don't need a fulfilling relationship. If you had money you'd be in an unfulfilling marriage now. Just-throw-money-at-her-and-she'll-shut-up kind of marriage.
You just need a rainbow to chase, any rainbow, to take you away from the here and the now. You spend your life chasing rainbows and doing what other people tell you to do, composing yourself of what people tell you to be.
Au contraire, I don't need the money. I need to fulfillment. I don't want to be stuck in a stagnant place, where nothing out of the ordinary happens. Even Harvest Moon is less monotonous than this, and Harvest Moon is the most monotonous game I've played.
We spend the days facing our seperate computers or handheld devices, no longer talking. You used to be so sweet, texting me several times a day, even when you're busy. Now you don't bother to until you're coming back and want me to open the door for you.
I guess the texting me a lot and making me feel loved part was because there was the threat of me leaving you for someone else. I was this close to leaving you. When there is no prospect of me leaving, you go back to being stagnant. So, in order to feel loved, I should threaten to leave every few months?
Not that I actually care anymore. All this up down up down, I seriously can't be bothered to even care if you're texting me anymore, much less care about the quality time we're spending together (i.e. none). I am not a balloon, you know. When I want to fly, you hold on to the string tightly. A few days later, when I run out of helium and just hover a few inches above the ground, you let go of the string and leave me to hover aimlessly, knowing that I can never fly again.
If you don't quite care about the fulfillment, neither shall I. I shan't keep my mind in check, I'll probably just let it wander until it reaches wherever it finds fulfillment.
So ... yeah. Back to square........ ah whatever.

The Starfish Story
Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.
One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.
As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.
He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"
The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."
"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.
To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."
Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"
At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."
- Loren Eiseley (1907 - 1977)
You don't have to wait until you're highly educated with a lot of degrees on your wall. You can make a difference wherever you are in life. Never believe the lie that you are insignificant, you never know; you could have saved a life today with a simple smile or a kind word.
Keep making a difference, one starfish at a time.

People
I don't want your money, I want your sincerity.
I don't need material things that you can buy, I want just your companionship.
If you can show me that you can and will go to lengths for me, I dare not even mention great, you know I will do the same, if not more.
Love, and friendship, is not about expensive bags and shoes and things that money can buy. To some people I know who value money far more than a life of someone or something that doesn't affect them, this may not be true, but screw you.
I know how easy it is to use money/gifts as a replacement for love and friendship. You'd think it's hard because you have to work for the money to buy the gifts, but earning money is never harder than being honestly and consistantly sincere in wanting happiness for the other party.
I don't need expensive cars or houses, or even phones and cameras. I simply ask for your sincerity.
It's not just about getting off your ass and organizing even a simple outing, much less an overseas trip that I know is never coming, and stay standing instead of sitting right back on your ass and staying there for the next few years before getting up to do something sincere again.
I know I'm asking for the sky, but people, if I can do it, despite realizing the futility, so can you.

Baby Toys Day
I was walking around AMK Hub the other day, and passed by the baby section on the second floor. Couldn't resist buying a couple of toys for the kids (more excuse for me to go play with them) and here are the pictures.
And yes! I finally get a couple of shots together with Little Ball! But the lighting wasn't good, so they came out blur. Still...

My favourite shot of the day.

I look damn maternal.

I love Little Ball~

But Little Ball apparently loves his uncle Lazy more than me. Ggrrr *jealous*
After awhile when uncle Lazy went to work (at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks ah, whoever happily spoilt the server on a weekend Lazy and I have together.), Little Ball and his mummy decided to go over to Little Sweetie Pie's place with me to play with her.

Apparently Little Ball's learnt something new. It's call "tia-chu" (tear down the house in Hokkien).

He keeps pulling out the numbers and chewing on them. Must be teething. Little Sweetie Pie already has 2 teeth out already!

"Mummy, korkor tia-chu! How?"
Little Sweetie Pie tells her korkor not to tia her chu.

"Good boy, don't tear down my house already ok?"

Little Sweetie Pie.

So sweet little girl~

Little Sweetie Pie confiscates Little Ball's number 8.

At this point, my camera ran out of juice, so I had to use my phone for the rest of the pictures.
If you look closely, you can see the pontianak in the mirror in the above picture. She appears to be holding a phone and taking pictures of the.... Hey!

Pontianak x 2
Since Little Sweetie Pie confiscated his number 8, Little Ball went for a smaller, bite-sized number 6.

This is why I love Little Ball. He gives me great shots!
I know this is a very obvious thing to say, but Little Sweetie Pie looks like an incredible mixture of her mummy and daddy.

For some reason, Little Sweetie Pie got hold of yet another straw wrapper.

Who will win this tug-of-war? Will it be the bigger sized and rougher Little Ball, or the feisty Little Sweetie Pie?

Moral of the story: Don't underestimate girls.
Little Ball talks animatedly with Little Sweetie Pie.

I just love it when Little Ball's mummy has a hard time keeping him away from Little Sweetie Pie.

What Happened At Christmas
Random Squark: This post's pictures was posted entirely by name. Which means I looked up the name of the file, went to my pictures folder to see if it was the one I wanted to post, then came back to post it. See how much I love you guys?

Se we had a Christmas Present opening session at home with my family on Christmas Eve.

Messy.
My presents:

Lazy bought this while we were at the airport with Cookie.

For some reason Mom thinks it's funny to get me a baby doll.

From my sister, who had booked a pyjama party movie session on Boxing Day.

From the Lazy. It's a doggie bracelet from Swarovski.
For my sister,

For the Lazy:

From my mom

Also from mom as a joke

From me. Lazy was looking for this because apparently it was out of season, or something, and the shirt wasn't being sold anymore. I had this shipped from *country name erased*.

It came in like this.
Thus ends Christmas Eve.
We has a present exchanging session with the sweet Anthony as well.
This is what we got him -

It's a radio. The nipples are the dials. I still can't believe he walked around the house like that and even went to show his mother. Cute, lah.
This is what he got for us -

South park plushies, each with a lovable message inside.
How lovable. That's Kyle's voice on Kenny, by the way. I think the makers, after obtaining Kyle's voice, got lazy and decided to use it on all four of their plush toys. Which means all of them are saying the exact thing in the exact voice.
The plush toys came in a doggie bag that Anthony had.

Second hand, but perfect for my Tracy! Yay~
He gave Lazy this plastic figurine

Which came in this bag that he had too.

It's a talking bobble-head thingy, whatever that may mean. When Lazy pulls out a strip of plastic on the underneath, this Kenny has a lot to say when anyone touches him. But, being the typical Kenny, we couldn't understand a word he's saying. After awhile he got annoying and we had to put the plastic strip back and put him back into the packaging.
So after all the presents exchange, it was boxing day.

The pyjama party my sister gave me, remember?
It was at GV for Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories.

Queing up for the Aussino blankie which ran out way before we got to the line.

Some families even had kids dress up from top to toe. Which includes plushies, and furry bunny slippers.
GV provided hot chocolate, marshmellows, cookies and popcorn for this promotion.

It was surreal when we got to the inside of the cinema. The advertisements had started, so it was quite dark. There were rows upon rows upon rows of people - clad in pyjamas.
Was fun.

We were the first to leave after the show. I think we scared some of the coffee bean patrons in the basement when we happily walked past in our pyjamas.
And here's how we spent the new year countdown.

I aoologise for the blurry-ness. I'd just come out from an air con room, and the lens apparently fogged over. And yes, that's June playing mahjong with my friends.
