His Kids


The bunny bunny recently made up his mind about what to name his kid if it's a boy in the future.

As with any normal couple, we already have English names in mind for a boy and a girl, which we both think is the best scenario. A boy for him to play with and a girl for me to play with, right? Anyway, the names are confidential until the kids really come along next time.

So I was asking him, what about their chinese names? His initial reaction was 曹俊男 (Choo handsome) and 曹美女 (Choo beautiful). Jokingly, of course. Then as we were walking around Funan (him being an IT guy, that's like going to a playground for a kid), he hit upon what he thought was the best name.

IT Man.

This came from his pronouncing Ip Man as I-P Man (as in man, not the cantonese dialect maan). So It Man translates to cantonese is 热问 (for those who can't read this, the direct translation is HOT ASK).
