Eventful days

It's been a VERY eventful few days.. Let me start in chronological order.

On one eventful day, wangfh81 forgot to kick down his side stand and dropped his bike with 3 other bikes beside him, causing a domino effect. His seat was torn, but he's ok. A few moments later, far away in Bugis area, Lazychoo dropped his bike as well. His side stand wasn't steady before he let down the bike, and on his left side was a slope. He lost his footing and went tumbling down with the bike. Even further away in some corner of the island, Taiji had his bike cover stolen. Ah Nick got the worst. He had an accident on the expressway when a Merc suddenly jammed brakes in front of his. Fractured here, scraped there, the works. And for me, as I went for my circuit revision at SSDC, I dropped the bike on someone else's foot. This all happened in one day. Eventful, eh?

Wasted! Didn't buy 4D.

Anyways, I had my TP on the 23rd. Kudos to all who worried and prayed for me, and were there to share my joy when I PASSED, Shirley and Stan, Vik, Ray, Riduan, CCS, Roger, Jieliang, Mable, Daniel, Anthony, Dannis, Xiongz, Lawrence, Raf, Isa, and all you aprilians (and RVF and wave and cbr150) who were there at the dam later at night to congratulate me.

No thanks to the kaypoh ji who posted the news in the SSDC thread, starting yet another flaming session. But thanks to those who defended me, Vik, Alan, Wayne and Lazychoo.

Special thanks to Lazychoo who stood by me from day 1, enrolling me online, escorting me to and fro SSDC for my lessons, waiting patiently for me after my lessons, being there the whole way throughout my TP, lurking outside the corridors to hear whether I passed, passing the news on to the people that matter, and being my emotional support throughout the journey. For being my teacher in many, many ways, not only for bikes, but for life as well. For being worried sick that I finally have a licence and am legally allowed to ride along with those monsters (read: taxi drivers) on the road. For escorting me here and there, forcing a lane open for me to change lanes when neccessary. For caring so much about me, yet giving me the space to grow and learn.
I love you, Kenny.

I went on the expressway on my first day, experienced slight heavy traffic at night. Played with 99 corners on my second day, went up and down the steep slope of Kent Ridge Park. Went up to 150km/h on the third day and learnt how to squeeze traffic. Almost collided head-on with a lorry on the forth day. I believe that is an achievment to be proud of. But of course, I couldn't do it without the help of Lazychoo, Anthony and CCS. Thanks guys.

It was such a nice feeling on my second day, having everyone gather and run around SG, ending at Changi where we all sat down in the carpark and giggled like teenagers at the trannys walking around. Some people told me of their problems, and I wish I was close enough to help them but either I wasn't close enough, or it really cannot be helped. Even so, I wish there was some way I could make them feel better.

That being said, I'm joining the Italian gathering on the 5th of March! Italian bikes, meaning Cagivas, Aprilias and Ducatis. Even though it is called the Italian gathering, there're a couple of Japanese bikes going as well, and all are associated with the Aprilians in some way.

Waiting for the ARC sticker from Lawrence, then I'll be the Official Aprilia Riders' Club Mascot! Muahahaha~

All you people whom I don't know well but have the honour to be on my msn, you'd better not start asking me useless questions as if we're talking on irc. If you've had the honour of being added, that means we probably got acquainted enough for me to add you. Don't come and "a/s/l?" "schooling?" "where do you live?" etc etc me. If you do that I will either ignore or straight delete you off my list.

And I recently found out how moronic people can be when it comes to making friends. This is my warning in my WLNY profile:

Getting fed-up with people I don't know asking me to add them in msn. Look dude, I only add people I know in my msn okay? Bugger off!

And somehow, some complete airheads can still send me this kind of messages wanting to make friends:

hello jazzy, christopher here... can add me at sliderwkw@yahoo.com.sg ?

Erm.. No. Seeing me once at the movie outing does not constitute you have the priviledge of adding me on your msn list.
